Cant install sims 3

So I want to install sims 3 on PC (Windows XP) from games4theworld. Only the base game. When I click the autorun.exe it shows me an error and the text says my pc like cant find the autorun or some file like that. Why is that?

Did you download from the complete collection or just the separate Sims 3 torrent? I advise you to download that complete collection in case you need to install other EPs/SPs later on.

Okay I just check my folder and the one you need to click is Sims3Setup.exe and not autorun.

So, the pc is actually old and it has free space ofcourse, but if i try to install it with all expansions it just takes a lot of the free space, and i dont like that  So i just wanted to download the base game and maybe 1 or 2 expansions. I will try to run sims3setup.exe and will tell if it works.

Which folder do i have to open exactly? There are two.

Two? The folder should just be Sims 3. Is there another folder?

Okay no, my mistake. When i open the sims 3 winrar file there is #Crack, the sims 3 disk 1 and the sims 3 startdisk iso files. What do i do.

Is the setup a .iso file? If it is you need a tool to mount the file. The one from complete collection are all .exe files so there is no need to mount anything. But since that is a .zip file, you need to download everything(around 27gb) if i'm not wrong. You can delete unwated EPs later to save space though.

So now the .iso file, do you know how to mount them? I'm not sure what others are using but i've been using Daemon Tools (Lite) to mount any .iso file[size=34]s.[/size]

Nope, havent mounted anything a long time. I just clicked on the iso files. Now they are extracting. Which one do i setup from though? The sims 3 disk 1 or sims 3 startdisk?

Seems i edited the post a little late. Could you screenshot the files perhaps? And what files a being extracted exactly?

WinXP yes? You can just screenshot the whole desktop, but make sure the files can be seen. ALT + Print Screen button. Then open paint and CTRL + V once it open. Then just save as and you can upload the image here.

Ok, i started the installation as you said sims3setup.exe
But it still shows me it couldnt find the game. Now i have to mount it, right?

It should run if there is a setup.exe. Then it means the .iso is the correct setup file. Install daemon tools lite or if you have other mounting software, create a virtual drive and mount the .iso.

Ok, I wil try tomorrow and gonna tell if worked
