Latest patch won't install.

Yes, this is a sims 3 problem. I have already searched all over this forum and google in order to try to solves this but I'm one second from giving up. I've been installing and cracking for over five hours. This is my conclusion. First, these are my expansions:
The Sims 3
The Sims 3 Ambitions
The Sims 3 Generations (currently downloading from you but I've got another two hours to wait for it, it rains here in Sweden)
The Sims 3 Late Night
The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff (downloaded from you)
And when I copy the cracks in the order it says in the ultimate fix guide. Everything works until I get to number 14. After copying the last crack to the ordinary base game, Sims asks me to install sims3_1.24.3.012002_from_1.23.65.012002.exe. Here I'm faceing the same problem as others because the file is invalid at the end of the installation.
I just finished downloading all the cracks again and placing them in the exakt order as it says on the guide that follows as I saw was a solution for another person but the problem still remains.
Please help me?

hello,
This problem is usually caused by missing original files. The ones you copy during steps 3-11 are original files. These make your game compatible with the patch. Only the file copied in step 14 is a crack, it is located in the #crack folder in the fix.
From what you write, it seems like you've tried updating after copying the crack. The instruction video may be useful to you.

Thank you. I watched the video and then did it step by step as the person in the video. However, when I open my launcher this happends:

I have gotten something like this before, but I think the thing I did before I was uninstalled the latest EP then reinstalled it and made sure the correct files where there before I patched. This will not go away unless its installed properly.

If it was a script error. It might be something to do with the Internet Explorer. For TS (Topic Starter), if you're using IE version 9 Beta. I do suggest you to uninstall it . And stick with the IE 8

Let's try clearing your cache and Temp files, along with removing any CC you might have. Here's how to clear the browser cache:
Internet Explorer 8
1. From the Safety menu, click Delete Browsing History... .
2. Check Temporary Internet files and History, and then click Delete.
Internet Explorer 7
1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options... .
2. Choose the General tab.
3. Under Browsing history, click Delete... .
4. Next to "Temporary Internet Files", click Delete files... .
5. Click Close, and then click OK to exit.
Firefox 3 for Windows
From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data, and then check Cache. Click Clear Private Data Now.
Safari
1. From the Safari menu, select Empty Cache... .
2. When prompted, click Empty to confirm that you want to empty the cache.
Firefox 3 for Mac OS X
1. In Firefox, from the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.
2. Make sure Cache is checked, and then click Clear Private Data Now.

works, you should make a "Fix" thread for it. Only if it actually works, of course.
