Get Together "Traveling Loop"
Hi guys, yesterday I installed Get Toguether EP and today I was super excited to try it!
I joined my sim to a group that required invitation, so they invited my sim and I accepted.
Then the charging screen is up, the invitation was for the Discotheque Europa or something like that.
When the charging screen ends, it shows me the neighborhoods menu instead of being right at the disco. So okay, I headed out to de disco again, the charging screen appears once again and when its done, shows me AGAIN the neighborhoods menu.
I tried with different actions like, stop selecting the disco and going with a different household to play at a different house or location but the charging screen STILLS heading me to the neighborhood menu.
I noticed that there's an orange triangle warning-like symbol over the disco instead of its normal icon. When I hover over it, it says "Incomplete". I read on The Sims forums that it means that some object is missing in order to the venue to work properly, so all I have to do is enter to build mode at the disco and add the missing objects. BUT the list that game shows you with the objects and quantity needed says everything is fine, there's nothing missing.
I changed the game folder out of Electronic Arts, installed first Get Together (I already have all previous DLC and EPs) and then applied the Ultimate Fix. What could be wrong?

Re: Get Together "Traveling Loop"
Hello!
I've encountered this issue as well, though it's for the Spa (Newcrest) instead and Carlos had provided a hotfix (a few KBs) that fix the 'incomplete' data for me. The orange trigger warning. However, it seems that it was made for the possible Llama issues on Newcrest and I'm not sure if it will work for you. If you want to, you're welcome to try the fix and see if it helps.
Other than that, it seems that certain mods are causing the looping problem for me. I'm now in the progress of putting everything back one at a time. If you have any mods, perhaps you could try to remove them and see what happens.

Do you have any mods/CCs installed to the game? So there is still orange trigger warning signs on the lots? If you create a new Sim will it still happen? If the orange trigger is still present, chances are you won't be able to visit the Get Together neighborhood until it's 'fixed'. Perhaps you could try re-applying the ultimate fix and see it that helps? Otherwise, we need someone with more experience to see this.

Yeah I have lots of CC but they're just CAS type.
I've been in serious experiments trying to fix the loop by simple ways hahaha. First I erased the lot, saved the disco on my library and re builded it, but no effect, the orange trigger stills there. Next I tried to build another brand new disco filling all the requirements from the list. Orange trigger said hi again. And my final attempt was to replace locations between the park located in front of this disco and vice versa, since this two are same size (30x20), and success!! No orange trigger anymore "BUUUT!!!!!!" every time I try to play with any household in this neighborhood the loop is there saying "nope, Im still here"...
At least there's no orange trigger anymore?
But good idea, I'll re-apply ultimate fix and see what happen. Thanks again!

For now, can you try re-applying the files/folders from "Get together" (without the Ultimate fix) ? Then try the game again.
I would also double-check on your custom content though. Just to make sure.

So I should run the game without the ultimate fix? Just Get Together files?
Just making sure

Re: Get Together "Traveling Loop"
Well I re-applied the Ultimate Fix and for now I haven't see the loop again
After all that switching public lots from a place to another, the orange trigger disappeared.
I guess if for some reason the loop's back then I'll wait for the next game patch and its ultimate fix.
Thanks a lot!!
