Problem with traveling

I have, the Sims, Generations, World Adventures, Out door living stuff and ambitions. Everything works fine. But when I get my sims to go to vacations, it loads, an then, I am (for example) in China, but none of my sims are there and nor is any other sim. I can't go back home 'cause I have no active sim, so I have to leave the game and get in again, in my house.

How can I fix this? Thank you

Sounds like an EA bug. I may be wrong, but that's probably what it is.

And there's nothing to do?

If it as an EA bug, then no, not that I know of. Wait for a reply from Admin or somebody more knowledgeable in this area.

I'm not familiar with this problem either. If it's a bug, you should wait for a new patch from EA's side. I guess the next patch is somewhere in October.
Since I'm not sure, you could try to contact EA and see what they have to say about it.

I also have experienced this problem once....I think this is a bug...
Just close the current game (in China/France/Egypt)...and load back your saved game...Wait for a couple of sim days, and travel back to the destination....

Note that you will lose your progress if it is not saved..

Due to this problem...prior to my sims travel, i always save my game...

Thanks to you all. i guess I'll have to be patient. Last night, I traveled to France and everything was fine, so I guess it is a problem with CHina

I always forget to save, I'll have to be more careful :S
