Sims3 Launcher has stopped working.

So I've re-installed my game following all of the guidelines, as well as updated it to the latest patch. The first time I open up my launcher after a re-install it works fine and the game starts up normally but then for some reason the next time it has a pop up that says it has stopped working and now crashes. I've used the ultimate fix and that sadly has not fixed it, I've been all over the internet trying to find a solution and so far nothing.

I know you can play the game without the launcher, the actual game runs fine. I just want to use the launcher for custom content and I'm not sure how to download it without it so if anyone has any ideas or tips please let me know!! Thank you Talk to my rite hand

But I don't know if this is still working today. I myself don't use the launcher for anything, besides installing neighborhoods/worlds. Most of my Sims 3 store content is in the .package file format (I torrented a nice from somewhere, about a year and a half ago). So I don't need the launcher.
