Sims 4 Mods will not show up

I have searched this forum and other sims forums for a few days now and i cannot find the answer to my problem.
My Sims 4 mods do not show up in game (I am all up to date.) The lots from my tray folder show up in game but the cc does not. This started when I updated my game. I don't know what to do because almost all of my sims wear cc... Help

Hello and welcome to the forum @minislugget,

What kind of mods are you using ? Please note that if you download the stuff from Games4theworld, you game patch version will be - as of now - 1.13.104.1010. You must make sure that your mods and custom content work on this specific game patch version. You can do so by reading up all available information on the sites where you download these mods/CC. Or try to get in touch with the mod creator(s).

Its not just the mods, when I took all the files from Tray, Mods and also saves, the game would stop working once i clicked the play button. I decided to download The Sims 4 from a different website because I've had too many problems with G4TWs TS4. Thank you for all the help.

All these circulating Sims 4 games should be technically the same, so it doesn't matter where you downloaded them from. Did you at some point edit something in your "Resource.cfg" file under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods ? If you edit the file, you may run into problems.

About the crashing, feel free to give the following tips a try, for the moment. Let's see about the missing mods and stuff later on, if possible.
