Sims 4 issues.

Hi!

I have a question. When I installed The Sims 4 and Get to Work, everything worked perfectly. But when I added Get Together it didn't work anymore. I got the 'Origin is not running' error, I tried to crack it again, I applied the ultimate fix but nothing is working and I reaaaally wanna play with this expansion. Please Help!

Hello again,

Are you sure you moved the installation folder of "The Sims 4", directly under Program files or Program files (x86) ? And are you sure you configured your anti-virus exclusions properly ? See this guide for an introduction.

Hi! I forgot to mention I am playing on a macbook. sorry! I am sure it is in the right folder structure since I did the same thing I did when installing Get to Work, with is working fine.
And I am not sure how the anti-virus thingy works for mac! Any (other) tips and/or tricks?

Sorry to hear about that, but I can't really help with Mac-specific issues; I'm sorry (see also this post here). Your best bet would be to install a proper Windows partition on your Mac computer and try installing/running our The Sims 4 game from there.

Hi everyone!

I asked this question already a while ago, but the person replying didn't know an answer.
I was hoping someone else can help me!
I run the sims 4 on my macbook pro with Wineskin. The base game and Get to Work work perfectly this way, but Get Together won't work. I get the 'Origin isn't running' error message and the game doesn't even start.

I really wanna play with Get Together and I am really upset that this isn't working! I tried downloading the expansion from another site and I tried to apply the ultimate fix but nothing seems to work!

Please help me! I really wanna figure this out!

I got that problem when I added Get Together to the Get to Work one.

What I did was re-installed it in this order:

1. The base game

2. The Get to work pack

3. The get together pack

4. any other packs

5. the crack

Try starting up the game and see what happens. Make sure you save all your saves, tray and mods to a different folder so you don't lose your progress.

If that doesn't work try installing it in that order but without the get to work pack. I don't have the get to work pack any more because it slowed the game down. But honestly get together is the best pack you really don't need any other pack.

Also, make sure you are following the MAC installation guide and not the Windows guide, the Windows and MAC guide are quite different and one tiny detail can make a huge impact on the entire game.

If you've tried all this, I have no more advice to give, simply because I have never had any other problems.

Also try searching around the forum, there might be people with a similar problem, who have resolved it.
