The Sims Stories graphics glitch(es) - fix.
Hello,
Some of you might experience a glitch in The Sims Stories-games, that looks like this here, or similar.
The screenshot only shows "learn to play"-boxes here, and clicking on any option in the main menu will crash your game. The error appears to be caused by having a "non-Unicode system locale", and it can be fixed by choosing a system locale that the game actually supports. You can find a little guide on the issue here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t22536-unwanted-language-during-installation-fix
You do not necessarily have to select "English US", like I did in my own example that I used in that topic. As a general guideline, you could select the language that is also the display language of your Windows operating system. But again, if you want to do some 'experimenting', feel free to do so (on your own).
Good luck for now !
