Help with origin [SOLVED]

Hi,

I am about to install the sims 3 and all the other expansion packs in order to get the latest updates. they tell me I need to install origin. Does i need to do that or skip that step????

Yes, you need to install origin if you want update the game. Otherwise you need to update manually.

By the way, for you information. There is no harm to install origin, since it's a download manager for EA games. Something Steam client.

I am in the post "*MUST READ* How to install The Sims 3 correctly" at step 1&2. When installing the base game and the expansion packs, do i need to apply the crack or wait till when i am at step 4 to apply the cracks???

Apply the crack at the last stage. After you update it.

when installing origin, do i need to create an account in order to receive updates for the game??

i did everything as said as in the #installation guide.pdf but at step 13 (Now, open the The Sims 3 launcher and navigate to the "Update" -tab. Choose "Refresh". If a new update is shown, install it. Now you should have the latest version of the game.) when i open the sims 3 game launcher it tells me unable to connect to origin. Did i do something wrong???

Hello,

For manual update, you do not need the EADM/Origin. Please let us know the result!

It actually work with the manual update and I just played the game and it works perfect. Thanks for all your help Very Happy
