Installing The Sims 3 Expansion Packs Empty Installing The Sims 3 Expansion Packs

Post by Guest Wed 20 Apr 2016, 15:09

So um... I'm new to this forum and I've downloaded the sims 3 (base) and some EP that I want all from games4theword hehehe. I got Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Seasons, University Life, and Into The Future. I didn't download the sims 3 complete collection because my laptop is an old laptop. So I haven't installed any EP yet because I'm afraid of making mistakes. What I'm confused here, do I have to download WA and stuffs according to the order in order for the game to work? Even though I don't want them all? If I have to what's the order? Please, I'm really clueless and I'm eager to play. Thank you^^;

Hello and welcome to the forum @gtopelectro,

The installation order really doesn't matter anymore these days. Smile

What you should pay attention to, is to create one folder for each expansion you want to install. Name the folders e.g. University, Ambitions, Late Night, etc. And then you make sure that you extract the contents from each .RAR file, into the appropriate folder. So the contents from the Late night .RAR go into the Late night-folder, and so on.

Really make sure to keep all expansions in separate folders.

Once you extracted everything properly, run the installers from within the folders. When you are done with THAT, ignore all crack-files that come with these old expansions. Instead, do steps #4 and #5 here:

Good luck !
