Sims 3 help

Hi there,
I recently downloaded the sims 3, when I downloaded it I followed the NEW crack steps. Everything worked COMPLETELY fine, I even played for a few hours to make sure. But.. I recently added more EP's to the game (i.e into the future, islands paradise) now it's not working.
I get a message saying "There was an error during the startup. Please see the log for more details."
I tried replying the crack from the MEGA fix but that didn't work.
Is it not working because I added the EP's after the whole process was finished?
Will I need to repeat the WHOLE process?

Hello and welcome to the forum @Jahliaa,
For now, can you try re-applying the manual patch at first, and then also the "Ultimate fix" ? That means, do the steps #2, #4 and #5 here:

Note: you don't need to re-download the manual patch and Ultimate fix. If you already have them, just re-use them.

Hey, I tried doing that. It asks if I'd like to replace the files and I click yes yet it does not work. I feel like I messed something.

I received a simular error-message when i tried to install Sims 3 anew. Previously sims 3 was installed on an external drive with no fixed driveletter.
Upon removing apparently some packs were not removed from the registry.
When re-installing I was not prompted for a productcode.
After manually cleaning the registry and re-installing all extensions everything worked perfectly again.
