Game Crashes and Stuck on Loading

Hi, I'm new here, and I have a question.
So I have the base game and I downloaded the update only from this website, it runs well the first time, and then the game crashed. I tried to open the game again, it gets stuck on the loading screen (the one with the tips).
I tried removing the game file in the documents, but it works only once, after that it crashes and won't load again. So my question is: Is there any possible way to fix this? Or I need to download the expansion packs to get it work? But it says I only need the base game, so I'm a little bit confused XD

Hello @55twentyone and welcome to the forum,
Unfortunately this is a known glitch, and for the future we probably won't be providing these update-only-fixes anymore (in fact, the only reason we even started uploading these is because users with slower internet connections asked for an "alternative solution").
That said, The Sims 4 works entirely different than earlier Sims games, in that you need to have....
1) just the base game only, or
2) all DLC.
If you have the filespace, I would recommend you just go for the complete pack straight away.
