Do I really have to install Get Together to play?
Hey guys,
currently I am downloading base game and GTW ep. I really don't want Get Together, I don't like that ep and don't want to use my laptop memory on it. So can I just install base game and GTW, will it work? Can I then just install ultimate fix from another link, the one that requires only base game?
Greetings

Hello @amleb_,
Yes, installing the base game + Get to Work should do as well. Normally though, users generally go for the "complete pack", if their computer is (in terms of hardware) capable enough, and there is enough disk space too. But of course, if there is not enough space on your computer, then you can do it differently.
Keep in mind, however, that the base game + Get to Work will still need approximately 12-13GB of space for the installation, although I can't recall the correct figures right now. Should be around 12-13GB though. Also note that for the operating system to work properly, you should have at least an additional 1-2GB of free space on your machine.

Glad to hear that it could work, I am gonna try it out later and let you know I know it is common for users to go for complete pack, but I am just not feeling that ep, so yeah

Should I apply that ultimate fix after I install base game or after I install ep as well? Since it says it is only for base game, I don't know will ep work then, if I just apply it on base game?

Install Base Game, and then Get to Work. You really can't apply Ultimate Fix anyway because you don't have Get Together. So just install Base Game, finally Get to Work and play. Be sure to add The Sims 4 files to antivirus exclusion list.

@amleb_, you do NOT need the current version of the Sims 4 "Ultimate fix" at all. Please see my other post for the details.
