Manual patch - how?

Heyo,
I'm trying to follow this guide (and prolly I am dumb as hell) but I'm stuck on the 2nd step (Manual patch) - basically I cannot find any guide "step by step" how to do it -neither in the file / on the forum (unless I am blind..). The file after downloading looks like that:
Inside the resources there are these files:
I'm not sure,do I miss something? Can anyone help me with the "step by step for dumies" or send me the correct link for the freaks like me? I'd trully appreciate it ._.

No problem, I will move this topic to the right section.
It's not very complicated, all you have to do is make sure you have the patch for mac. Then, you can probably just execute it.
