Can't interact with Household sims

Hey guys, hoping someone can help with this. First off I don't have any mods or CC, don't have any old save files, and have already tried clearing the sims 4 document folder and seeing if that solves my problem. My problem is none of my sims in my household can interact with each other. Interacting with other sims works fine, interacting with objects in the house works fine, it literally is just sims within their household. I've tried multiple households and they all have the same problem. Also possibly related: upon applying the latest fix/update some things in game cause my sim to show up white and red with question marks as well as NPC's. Has anyone else had these issues?

Do you use any Mods in your game?

UPDATE: It's okay now. Interaction pie/menu is up again! Deleted everything first, made sure everything was clean, followed instructions to a dot. Also, S+R version only had 4 maps available. Thanks G4TW!


Cleared them all out, reset and deleted sims 4 folder in my documents, reinstalled and installed sims. Still none. Gonna try the ones here from g4tw to see if it's a better version. Will update!
