Origin Error

I'm getting the Origin, ''The contents from your user data directory blah blah blah, you must update it through origin to play'', and I followed all of the instructions. My computer is a windows 7 32 bit, and I use Avast as my antivirus. I hope you guys can help me!  Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome to the forum @Cgirl1,

Try navigating under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and then also delete the GameVersion.txt file, found there. After which you try the game again. Good luck !
