So I bought TS4 deluxe edition and now maybe I regret it, can I use legit with pirate dlc's?

So I bought the deluxe edition it was on sale for like 12. SO i thought hey why not? But as I was reading tru here I saw that I cant use the legit base game with the dlc's?! PLease theres gotta be way

The problem is, you probably updated the game already to 1.24. Theoretically you could still "try" and apply the G4TW items in the correct order: Get to Work -> Get together -> (latest) TS4 Ultimate fix. See also this here.

I really can't tell if applying the G4TW DLC items will override the higher patch version of the Origin game. I have a legit base game myself, but never bothered trying it. I have both legit plus pirated games installed - in 2 different folder locations. I suggest you do the same.

And maybe you could then use the legit Origin game in the future, for downloading Gallery items and transferring them over to the cracked game.

OK, thanks! dude I will try that, can I make the origin game not update whenever theres one too? Damn it already updated to 1.24 hmm I will try that still and see if it works.

Note that if you don't keep TS4 on Origin up-to-date, it won't allow you to start the Origin game should you decide to play that one - instead of the cracked game...
