Hello.   I am new here and not sure where to post this.  I am *not* asking about the new DLC or anything about it, just to be clear.  I was only wondering if there is a way to update to 1.25.135.1020?  I am still using this and I wasn't sure if I had missed an update (I am on the mailing list but only recently) or if there was an way to manually update the game.  Sorry if this is in the incorrect place.  

Also, thank you so much for the time and work everyone here and everyone working on the cracks for all the Sims 4 stuff, has put into everything for everyone to share.  I couldn't possibly afford all of this on my own and I really appreciate it.

I moved your post to the correct section.   But no, there is no crack out yet for the newest patch/DLC, so you haven't missed out on anything yet. You can semi-update the pirated game to 1.25.135.1020 although it won't help you much when you only use pirated versions.
It does not perform any updating at all, it merely makes the game think that you have this new version.

Go to the folder where your game is installed (.f.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4), open folders Game and Bin.
Open the file Default.ini and replace the contents with:

When you now start your game it is "updated" to the new version.

Once again, this method does not perform any real updating at all !
It's only useful when you have pirated AND legit games of the Sims 4 running and both versions share the same folder The Sims 4 in Documents\Electronic Arts.

Oh wow ok, I only have the pirated version.  I have a legit version but it isn't installed at all.  I was asking about the updates cause a lot of mods now are updated to the latest one and they say they won't work with the 1.20 version.  I am ok just waiting.  The other reason was cause of the freebies the updates have been getting and I was hoping to grab them as well.  Again, it isn't a biggy and I appreciate the help but I only have a fully pirated version installed from here.

Mod and custom-content creators tend to cater to the folks with legit TS4 games. Maybe you can find old/archived versions of mods/CC you like, at these download sites. Pro-tip: if you need to ask for support on other sites/Forums, especially those that are about creating mods/custom content, do NOT mention or hint that you have a pirated game. Just ask about version compatibility, in a very general way.

No that was honestly it.  I never pirate games really but the Sims 4 has been such a huge let down for awhile and I just don't want to shell out this amount of money for what I honestly feel is basically sub-par work from them.  I'm not a big fan of EA or anything and I think as far as game mechanics and the way it plays/looks it is superior to 3 in every way.  But it's just so incredibly slow with any real progress, we still don't even have toddlers and having to wait on pools was just insanely annoying to me.  I don't feel like paying for this work cause at this point to me, it feels like a cash grab more than anything.  The only other time I pirate games is if they don't offer a demo lol  

I hope this one is updated soon with or without the DLC stuff, just updated would be nice but I'm fine waiting.  And thanks for the tip on FaceBook about the people stealing accounts n stuff just to get the latest DLC crap.  It just isn't THAT important to me that I'd actually steal from another individual.
