Installing base game.

I'm super new a this and kinda dumb but I've read this: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
I'm on step one installing the base game. Following the installation guide in the files, I'm pretty sure I mounted it correctly. I'm on step 7 it says: When, during Installation, the Installation asks for Disk 1, click 'Browse' and select the StartDisk you have Mounted. (NOTE: In 'My Computer' or 'Computer' the StartDisk is
called 'SIMS3').
I'm super lost and hoping someone could help me over team viewer or Skype something like that. Thank you! ^^;

Hi there!
Just wondering, did you download the Sims 3 Complete Collection torrent? All the installation files inside there are setup.exe and there should be no need to mount any disc image.

No I'm downloading just the Sims 3 base game I only wanted a few expansions since I don't think my laptop could handle so much stuff ^^;

Well I went derp mode but I figured it out! Thank you guys for you replies!

I applied the Ultimate patch but it still says "No Game Disk Found! Please Insert the Sims 3 University Life before continuing" hopefully someone knows what to do! ^^;

Did you apply the Ultimate fix correctly? See steps #4 and #5 here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
Make sure to copy and paste the two files into the proper location, and also overwrite the existing files.

Also, make sure you copy the right files. Sometimes people mistakenly get files from the wrong folder. You want the ones from the #crack folder.
