Ultimate Fix/ Manual Patch Problem

I downloaded the both the ultimate fix and the manual patch for the sims 3 as it said in the installation guide. Manual patch, expansions then ultimate fix. But I get a problem saying that theres a disk error. Yes I mounted the crack. I did EVERY SINGLE THING IT TOLD ME TO DO both on the forum installation guide and the downloadable installation guide.

That error does indicate a misplacement of the crack though. I assume that you mean "copied" the crack, not "mounted"? Because that's not going to work.
Make sure you copied the files from the #crack folder, to the base game\bin.

I did. Before installing ep packs it worked so I installed the sims 3 right. And yes mounting it because thats what it said to do in the # Installation Guide file. And it worked. The problem happened when I installed the ultimate fix and the manual patch.

Thats what I did. I even test played each ep one by one and got no errors until they where all installed at once. My anti virus was fine. I put them in the exception list. So I still dont know why im still getting this error.

Hi there!

What order did you install the EPs in? And you say you got the error when "they were all installed at once", so I suppose that it happened when you installed the last EP? And all of them were working before that last one?

It would help if you told us exactly what you did, in what order.

Installed sims 3 
installed sims 3 pets
installed sims 3 seasons 
played it
installed sims 3 ambitions
installed sims 3 supernatural
installed sims 3 university
installed sims 3 master suite stuff

I think University messed up because ive had multiple times with university. Also I installed then uninstalled movie stuff.

Reinstall everything you want to have, and place the crack. If it doesn't work, please attach a screenshot to your next reply that shows the contents of the folder you copied the crack to, showing the path of the folder and the details (date modified) of each file inside.

okay. I will try this and tell you if it works.
