The Sims 3 has stopped working

So I have sims 4 installed with both expansion packs out from this site and it runs fine. I have gotten bored with it and decided to go back to Sims 3. I just finished installing the complete collection and when I run it it crashes. It gets through the loading screens including choosing a town (although quite slow) and then when I get to CAS it crashes. I've never installed Sims on this laptop since it is new but did the test and it meets min. requirements. I retried it about 3 times after restarting the computer and each time it lets me do a little more in CAS before crashing and windows starts looking for a "solution". I've tried to delete caches but there are none since it was just installed. Any other advice? Thank you!

Hi there. I have tried all of those and still not working. I tried playing by bypassing the launcher and was able to play for 5 hours yesterday and 3 hours today but now it is crashing about 20 minutes into game play each time I start again. I delete caches each time and launch with the TS3W.exe
