Origin not running error

so, I downloaded Sims 4 City Living for you and when I load the game it brings up the "Origin not running" error. I do not have origin installed, so can someone tell me how to fix this??

I just downloaded the game and I am having the same issue. I don't have origin installed either, and all my downloads are from G4TW. I've never run into this problem before... hopefully someone will have a solution soon.

EDIT: I fixed this issue by moving "The Sims 4" folder into C://Program Files(x86) again! I had it placed in a different location previously which seemed to be triggering the origin alert. Now the game is up and running fine for me... maybe try this?

yep. got that error for a good while until I realized I had somehow moved it to "C:/Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4"

Instead of the correct place which is "C:/Program Files (x86)/The Sims 4"

You mentioned in the other thread your problem was fixed in the meantime (by moving the install folder "The Sims 4" under Program files x86). Can you confirm this again?
