Buttons won't work/blank menu

Hi everyone, 

So last night I got City Living here at G4W and ever since I installed it, it'll 1) take forever to load. When I first start it up, the "The Sims 4" text will stay there for like almost ten minutes it seems before I can go and try to make a new household. 

THEN.... I try to click the play button to enter CAS and make a new family and I click it and nothing happens AT ALL. It's like it's not responding. So I try to go into the Game Options Menu and EVERYTHING IS BLANK. 

Someone please help

I have that same problem, until I decided to uninstall and reinstall the one full DLC (18 GB), and it works greatly.
