PURCHASED BASE GAME AND CRACKED G2W...UPDATE VIA ORIGIN MESSAGE :(

i have purchased TS4, TS4 Get Together, & City Living. (that i have been playing already)
all i need is Get to Work... I moved the sims 4 file folder out of the 'origin games' folder. i disabled automatic updates in origin, and made sure that origin wasnt running. 
my game still wont start  it just tells me the contents of my user data directory were created by a newer verison of ts4. & that i need to update my game.

Go to the folder:
Documents - Electronic Arts - The Sims 4
Delete the file GameVersion.
Now start your game.
