Sims 3 WA Region lock.[SOLVED]
I have all other expansion packs, all downloaded from here, other than the base game, which i bought, and i downloaded WA from here also, but this time I'm having a problem just installing. when i load it up for installation (ive tried both the "Sims3EP01Setup" and the "Autorun" files to try to get it to work) , i get
"The setup has detected that the regional install code for The Sims 3 is different then what this expansion requires.
This product requires The Sims 3 to have the same regional code in order to be installed."
I'm honestly confused as to why this is the only one that i have had this problem with, any solutions?
Just stating again, that yes, i did download the expansion from here.

Hello,
This is normal and its not difficult to get past. You just have to change the SKU version before opening the installer. Its done as follows:
*Open "Start", type "regedit" in the search box and
then press [ENTER].
*When you're in the Register Editor, navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Sims > The Sims 3 OR IT MAY BE IN:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sims > The Sims 3 (Windows 7, Vista)
*Here you'll see a file called "SKU". Double click on it and change the value - which
should be "2" or "7" - to "1" and press "OK". Now close the Register Editor.
You don't have to change it back afterwards.
