Sims 3 Trouble? D: [SOLVED] Empty Sims 3 Trouble? D: [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Sat 19 Jun 2010, 13:50

I downloaded the Sims 3 from The Pirate Bay, and followed the installation instructions.

I copied the Sims.exe in the Crack folder and replaced the original. Yet when launching the game, I was asked to confirm the activation code. None of the codes generated by the Keygen worked. Someone had commented the file, saying they had the same problem. The solution was posted as "not having replaced the file with the one from the Crack folder".

So I moved the whole Crack file into the Sims 3 oflder, as opposed to just coppying it. I replaced it, and tried again. Now, when I try and play the game from the Sims 3 launcher, nothing happens. The launcher closes, TS3.exe briefly shows up on task manager, then dissapears. I've tried it many times, the same thing happens. Nothing happens at all D:

Anyone know what I've done wrong?

Hi,

You forgot to replace the original Game '.exe' with the Cracked one. Do the following to fix this problem:

Open the '# Crack' file in the .rar you Downloaded and copy + paste the 'TS3.exe' to the 'Game Directory > Game > Bin'; standard this will be: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and REPLACE it by the existing one. The Game should work now.

And you're obviously doing something wrong. I recommend you contact our Live Support through www.games4theworld.org when "Online" and ask them to fix the problem for you through TeamViewer. More information will be provided there.

You may also respond a little bit nicer, since I'm just trying to help you here.

I apologise. I was slightly annoyed at this not working, after having to wait hours for it to download.

I have replaced the exe file with the one in the crack file. Was pretty simple, I can't see how that might of gone wrong. Should I try a reinstall?

I'll also try the Live Support.
