Sims 3 "Service initialization failed (0x024e424f) [SOLVED]

I bought the game original from Amazon via EA.com
Can I still use the Sims 3 Ultimate Fix. I dowloaded the Sims 3 Generations and im getting the Sims 3 "Service initialization failed (0x024e424f) error. HELP!

Did the game install via Origin or something?

used the Sims 3 Ultimate Fix. It WORKED!
