The Sims 2 Installation Error - PLEASE HELP Empty The Sims 2 Installation Error - PLEASE HELP

Post by Guest Tue 07 Feb 2017, 16:28

Everything has been going great and I've been installing all the patches but it seems that every EP and SP after Seasons keeps doing this. I'm not sure if it's safe to continue or what I did wrong. Is there any way I can fix this?? Do I just continue? I have no idea what to do right now. Please help!

IT SAYS:
"This product will create saved games in a different format from your currently installed games. Should you ever wish to uninstall this product, your saved games will be unreadable by previous SimsTM 2 products. It is recommended that you cancel installation now and back up the SimsTM 2 saved games for all users. See the Readme file for instructions on backing up these files. Are you sure you want to continue installation?"

Hello and welcome to the Forum @CasMelt,

You can safely bypass that "error" message. Smile  If you want to install all the expansions and stuffpacks, which I assume, then it's not going to be relevant for you. The only scenario in which it becomes relevant is, when you install everything, play for a while, and then decide to remove certain DLC. But I don't think you are going to do that...?
