Origin ALWAYS opens

So I have a legit copy of the base game and the Get to work and city living expansions, but naturally I wanted more. After installing the torrents and placing the files where they go, origin pops up and tells me the game isn't installed (probably because it's now in a different directory), and the game won't start

The issue is Origin should not ever be open for obvious reasons, but not fretting, I disabled "origin in game" to try to solve this, that didn't work, still opens with the same error

I then tried getting the cracked version to make it so it wouldn't be connected to origin, STILL OPENS!!!

Finally I uninstalled origin, because it can't open if it doesn't exist, the game refused to start, because origin isn't installed

So now I give up, anyone figured out how to fix this????

Legit and pirated copies should be installed in different directories.
Legit by default in Program Files (x86) - Origin Games - The Sims 4
Pirated anywhere else but not in folders like Origin Games or Electronic Arts.

They must also have different shortcuts on your desktop.
When Origin is open and/or active on your computer, you cannot start a pirated version.
The legal version will always open Origin.

The crack for the pirated version must be in the exclusions of your anti-virus program, unless you use the 64-bits startup TS4_x64.exe on a 64-bits Windows machine.
The file RldOrigin.dll (part of the crack) is often seen as a virus by your AV whilst RldOrigin_x64.dll is not.

Also please note that the newest version for the sims 4 is now 1.28.25.1020. Without this update your legal game won't start.



When you look at the righthand side of your (bottom) taskbar and you see the icon for Origin, you cannot start a pirated game. You must close Origin first by rightclicking on the icon and select close (or exit) Origin.

Alright, it's working now, Actually got a different error that I could find in the forums (yay) and solved that myself.
