Hello,
Not sure, but it seems like you should check your videocard, see if its compatible and the drivers are up to date.

Re: Hotel Giant 2 sys3d and sys3de problem
Is not because you can run Windows 7 in a banana computer that means is a good PC!
The specified game needs low video support (7600 GT+ 256MB memory) for the minimum required.
But as we always report,
Notebooks are not for games, especially when video chipset share video memory with processor.
Higher notebook type I3 is good when video with higher individual memory is provided!
Now if you believe in your luck
You can try to give up a fresh update of your PC drives and pray.
OS:Windows 2000/XP/Vista
CPU:Intel p4 1.5GHz
Main memory: 1GB RAM
HDD: 2GB Free Space
DirectX 9
Video card: 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6/ATI Radeon 9 Video Card
DirectX 9 Compatible Sound
note:
info about specification diverse from site to site..

Re: Hotel Giant 2 sys3d and sys3de problem
they do some new Generic drive support for Win7 (Oct. 2010) but the GMA 3150 is low support for 3D games.
note: only support 32Bit OS
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-3150.23264.0.html
The 3D performance of the GMA 3150 is therefore only suited for some low demanding 3D games in low details. In our tests only the old Quake 3 Arena ran fluently (even with high detail settings). Furthermore, Torchlight ran more or less fluently in 800x600 - low, but Fraps only showed 10fps. More modern low demanding games like Trackmania Nations Forever or Left 4 Dead only showed a slideshow. In our tests with the Dell Mini 1018 many modern games didn't even start (driver 8.14.10.2117):

Re: Hotel Giant 2 sys3d and sys3de problem
Hotel Giant 2 require screen resolution 1024x768. However. You can do that by hacking the screen resolution if you use Intel GMA 3150.
1. Open Regedit
2. Click edit and click find
3. Type: Display1_DownScalingSupported and click find next
4. Double click the value and change it from 0 to 1
5. Restart your netbook
6. Now your netbook can switch resolution to 1024x768 which you can run Hotel Giant 2 perfectly (Make sure you change the in game setting resolution to 1024x768 or your VGA Card will broken)
Tested on Vista - 8.1 I use Toshiba NB500 netbook
1. Open Regedit
2. Click edit and click find
3. Type: Display1_DownScalingSupported and click find next
4. Double click the value and change it from 0 to 1
