The Sims 3 Pets stops working in Create a Family. Empty The Sims 3 Pets stops working in Create a Family.

I recently installed The Sims 3: Pets [FULL/FIXED] and when I went to Create a Family my game would say that it has stopped working and quit. I didn't have this problem before I installed Pets and I installed it exactly as it said to in the instructions. Also, it isn't custom content or anything because I had custom content disabled when doing this.
Does anybody know what's wrong?
