Unable to start Origin is currently not running

I had the base Sims 4 game from games4theworld and decided it was time for an update. I downloaded the latest ultimate fix 1.25.... from the game4theworld website. I then followed the instructions step by step. I then started the game and it said that it needed admin if it is your first time and make sure origin is closed. So I ran it as admin and it showed a black screen for a few seconds then closed saying: Unable to start: Origin is currently not running...

I didn't even have Origin. I then got Origin but never started. I made sure it had always been closed. even login but no success.
Any suggestions?

Base Game + ultimate fix will not work.
You'll have to install as follows:
1. Base Game
2. Get to Work
3. Get Together
4. City Living

No further fixes required.
