Sims 4 not responding.... :(

Hello. My game has stopped responding all of a sudden and it usually gives me an infinite screen that looks a lot like this V
Please help..

Mind you, 95% or more of the problems with the Sims 4 are caused by Mods/hacks/CC

Try a new The Sims 4 folder:
Go to User\Documents\Electronic Arts.
Rename the folder The Sims 4 to The Sims 4_old
Now start your game.

No problems ?
You can now transfer files/folders bit by bit from The Sims 4_old to the newly created The Sims 4 folder

Indeed, did you do anything "special" prior to this error occurring? Like, add new mods, custom content, etc.? You might also want to check out clearing the cache files; a possible guide can be found here:
