i get this after all expansion packs are in stalled and i follow your info
unable to start
the contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of the sims 4 and connot be loaded. please update your game via origin to play

Go to the folder User\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
Delete the file GameVersion.
Now start your game again.
