Sims 4 crashing after download

Hi,

I recently downloaded the games4theworld base game and expansion packs, I installed them following the step by step guides but for some reason when I go to open the game it says "The Sims 4 is not responding, close this program and windows will find a solution". I have read through all of the related forum topics but none seem to help. I don't have and mods or cc's also. 

Please help 

It could be that your computer is not capable of playing Sims 4.
When you were able to play the Sims 3, you can also play the Sims 4

Before hand I brought the game and it was working fine before I added all of the expansion packs so I removed all of the documents relating to the sims 4 manually and from the control panel. I then decided to download the base game but it doesn't work.
