was there ever a crack released for Sims 3 version 1.69?

Bummer... I recently downloaded all my sims 3 stuff from Origin and installed it with all my cc and mods i use in my cracked 1.67 on my other drive and was amazed at how well it ran.
smooth as can be and it goes for hours and hours with no fear of crashing. i never seen my sims 3 run so good.

Funny how many people say screw Origin, i'm not updating to 1.69. from what i see they only screwed themselves.

guess i'm gonna have to do without what i'm missing and get rid of the cracked version. i barely played sims 3 for quite awhile cause it ran like **** even if i started a new game / world.

There should not be any difference between pirated and original DLC's.
Mind you, I did not use the G4TW downloads for the Sims 3 but always used my own .iso's (exact copies of the original CD's) even though I updated to 1.69

maybe one of the packs i dont have just adds some seriously poor optimization to the game. idk

I would have maybe thought of the NRAAS No-CD mod, but the description on the page says it only works up to 1.67. And yes, I still believe a major reason for the release of the 1.69 patch was, to make life difficult for those people who had Origin games mixed with pirated ones.

I'd indeed stick with 1.67. Smile

Legit users have been decrapping store content as well, so it really shouldn't be a problem.
