Game Crashing at sim creation

Once I updated the game to the Vampires update, the game would start but as soon as i attempted to add a sim in Sim creation to create my house hold the game would crash.

I did attempt the temporary fix by downloading the new game file and that did not work the game still crashed in the same spot.

I have uninstalled and redownloaded about 3 times and can not seem to find the fix.
