Updated, fixed, now Sims 4 won't recognize vampires/bowling?

So I downloaded the toddler/vampire/bowling pack -- created an alternative "Game" folder per the fix. Now the game works but when I open it goes to the main menu and doesn't recognize that the vampires or bowling packs are downloaded (It gives me the option to "Download to Use" but obviously my copy won't connect to any servers). Did I do something wrong? I have the ability to create toddlers and the existence of the content is displayed -- the game just doesn't recognize it in my files or have it unlocked.
