Parenthood - CAS won't load

I installed both Toddlers/Vampires and Parenthood at the same time, and in the proper order.
Because of this, I figured I wouldn't need the Temp Fix that was rec'd with T/V.
So I followed Parenthood to a T (Game -> Game_, use Parenthood.zip's Game folder instead), and now a bunch of my CC is missing and CAS won't load... like at all. Households load fine (aside from the missing cc issue), worlds load fine, didn't try making a new game but I can if it would help with more info (just ask)... and CAS just gets stuck.
The proper background and the sim I'm trying to edit will come up, but it'll freeze there and just loop the World music - I have to force close in order to get out.

Any help would be appreciated. Looking at the other threads on here, it might just be a bug that needs ironing out. If you need any more info let me know.

I havent had that problem (in fact i have the reverse problem from you it would seem - my cas loads fine but my games send me to the world map), have you tried taking out the rest of your mods and loading up cas to see if that fixes the problem?

Yeah, I just did that actually, and CAS loads fine, everything loads fine..... except I get the endless household load. Super weird that I didn't have that problem with my saves/mods intact, and I get the issue everyone else has without my saves/mods.

Edit: Gonna try the same with the mods and no saves, and see if I just have corrupt saves.

OK! So I reloaded with just my mods and no saves and found out that something in my mod folder doesn't agree with the T/V and Parenthood updates because CAS is having the same issue as it was, and I haven't installed any new mods since I last played the game (and it was fine). I'm going to do some more experimenting and see if I can find the offending mods.

Still weird that I was able to load my household before, though. I wonder why that is.

Hi there!

Usually it's due to conflicting mods. The game might with mods on the Vampire update but since the Parenthood is really recent, the 'mod' itself might be outdated.

Do keep us updated.

I have no cc or mods and my CAS shows a sim but no name or aspriation choices or anything. It won't even let me get into the library to chose a household. Any ideas? I did have the zl origin game dled but i uninstalled it and reinstalled all the g4tw. .

I used the conflicting mods tool to no avail, but I know it's not fool-proof. Gonna do the 50/50 method and get back to you. I'm still unsure why households won't load properly though... gonna do some more research.

I'm not sure why CAS won't work for you if you're not using mods. Did you follow the install instructions exactly? You have to do it in a specific order or it won't work, and Parenthood has an extra step to it.

Have you tried installing this fix here? It's for missing interactions though, feel free to give it a try. Otherwise, I'd recommend doing a clean re-install of your game.
