Sims 4: GAMEPLAY NOT WORKING FOR UPTOWN

Hi guys,

I am having this problem where I cant play in game in the "uptown area" at all whether it be residential or the gym etc. I can build independantly (clicking on the lot itself and building) but when I move a sim in and then load to play with the sim in the lot, the game crashes. This happens as well when i enter/travel to a lot or residence in this area with a sim.

I have been having this problem for a while and just avoided going to the area or playing in it but it is annoying becasue i want to use the bigger apartments and just use the area in general.

I am using the game through wineskin because im playing it on mac and i have downloaded the base game and all the patches,add ons and expansions from games4theworld. And no, I didnt use the origin method, purely games4theworld downloads and packs.
