Unable to use kids' journal in Sims 4 Empty Unable to use kids' journal in Sims 4

When I tried to experiment with my child Sim in using the journal, it says there's no available chair and table to write on, but he has a study table (where he does his homeworks) and the dining table to write on. Please help. Thank you!  Wink

Does it work if you put the journal on a table or somewhere and have the sim click on it? i put mine on my kid's dressing table/drawer and he pick it up and went to write at the dining table.
