My sims can't drink things that give them moodlets

It's driving me crazy. My sim can't drink tea, orange juice, alcohol, summer drinks or anything else that gives them a moodlet. Water and milk are fine, but whenever I prompt my sim to go drink tea, they take the cup but then the sim resets for some reason and drops the cup and is unable to pick it up. Orange juice isn't even taken out of the fridge, and bartenders in clubs keep making drinks for sims who ask for it while they pile up on counters. I tried removing all my mods but it doesn't work. I also repatched the sims 4 times with the new update (3.105) and nothing changes. 

It happens to everyone, I checked at the bar, the drinks were piling up and the sims kept ordering more  I started with a fresh game and the save got corrupted instantly when I sent him to the bar lol. Guess I'm gonna have to re-install. Thanks anyways c:
