sims 3 pets problem.[SOLVED]

I have downloaded and installed the sims 3 pets but it won't let me copy the two files (cracks) into the 'Sims 3 > game > bin folder'. Every time I try to place the files in the folder it says that there is not enough space on disk and that I need 17.6MB of free space. I have tried everything but it won't allow me to place the files in the folder. Is there anyway to fix this problem? (This is my first time downloading any sim game)

Could you please make a screenshot of the folder you're copying the files to?

The folder I'm trying to place the files is in 'Computer > Sims 3 > Game > Bin'.
It's not a problem with space on my actual computer because there's a lot of free space but it says the the space on the cd is full which is 5.55 GB.

You copied the crack to the wrong folder. Please do as following:

Open the '# Crack' file in the .rar you Downloaded and copy + paste the
'TS3.exe' to the 'Game Directory > Game > Bin'; by default this will
be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and REPLACE it by the existing one. The Game should work now.

when I placed the files in the correct folder it didn't ask did I want to overwrite any the other files (should it?) so now when I get into the game there's an authorization problem.

Yes, it should ask, otherwise you copied them to the wrong folder.
Please send a screenshot of the folder where you copied them to this time, so I can guide you.
