Sims 4 won't launch if I add any CC

Hello everyone,

I have an issue since few months already.
First of all let me explain which game I have. I have the G4TW sims 4 (base game and DLCs). I had downloads before, I know how it works so it's not only a bad cc somewhere. Every new expansion my game won't launch so I clean my Mod folder until I find the files which don't work. Now I have a clead game with only the CC which work.

But here is the problem (I had it before the new pack, and the one before...) Every time I add one file in the Mods file, my game won't launch. I tried for instance the MC Command Center I wanted to get back since more than 6 months, I tried the last 4 versions, neither of them can work.
(My game version is 1.31.37.1020)

Please, if anyone could help it would be great. I have this issue since so long now.

Have you tried a clean game ?
Rename the folder The Sims 4 (or whatever it is called in your language) in the folder Dpocuments\Electronic Arts to f.e. The Sims 4_old.
Now start your game as administrator (by rightclicking on the shortcut).

Does it launch now ?
If yes - the problem still is your CC
if no - the problem lies in the installation(s) of the game, see MANUAL

The game launch with the CC already installed in the Mods folder, and it works also if I remove everything. It just doesn't work if I add one CC. I tried all kind of CC (new enough to be good with the actual version of the game).

That's why I'm coming today to look for help. That's a weird issue:(


Edit : I even have a new kind of a issue. Yesterday I finally managed to launch the game with one new CC (MCCC), it worked in my game, I saved. I launch back the game, it can't open until I remove MCCC from the Mods file. And it did again with another CC I tried to add (a non-default eye color). It worked in my game, I saved and now the game won't launch if I don't remove this CC from my file.

I think I only tried this Mod once, and that was back when it first came out. Don't evn remember when exactly that was. Sometimes, in order for mods to work you need multiple files. So if a mod contains more than one file, you need to have ALL of them in the folder. If you just put in one part of the mod, it may not work.

In case of doubt, check again the instructions (on MTS) about how exactly you need to install this mod.
