Sims 4 Missing My Saved Games [SOLVED]

I don't know how it just happened but after I had updated my game and my laptop all my saves are gone.
Help

Hi,

The saves aren't really gone. They are just missing or the files may need to be renamed so the game can see them.
1.The save files may need to be renamed in order for the game to recognize them. --> Restore a Saved Game.
2.Or they may have been saved to another drive like OneDrive. --> Search your computer, click the Start button. In the Search bar type in the Sims 4. If you find any where other than \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. You will want to move or copy it back to that location.

Are your saves inside the Documents folder? If yes, then you can rename the current folder, and allow the game to create a new one after you started the game. Then put back the saves one by one. If Slot_00000002.save (for example) is not working, switch it (rename) with Slot_00000002.save.ver0 (this is the latest backup of your game). So now, your Slot_00000002.save.ver0 will be Slot_00000002.save.

If you can't find your saves or your Sims 4 folder (this typically happens with OneDrive) search for anything related to the Sims 4 in Documents, say Options.ini/cachestr/stuff like that, in your file explorer and see if anything comes up.

One more Question: how can I go back to previous Save? I accidentally deleted a saved game!

Generally, there are 2 ways to get back to a previous save:

1.In-game: If you've previously saved a game you should be able to find a previously saved game in the Load Game Menu. Click on a game save, click the Recover Save button. If you have several backups, select a backup to recover.

2.Go to: C:/Users/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves
then sort by Date Modified.

However, if you accidentally delete a saved game, there is still hope to restore it. If you open your saves folder, you will see a list of save files. The game creates 5 backup files of your game save.

In addition to the above, the like I mentioned before, the save file will have different version.

.save -> this is your main save file
.ver0 -> your latest backup
.ver4 -> your earlierst backup.
The rest is the in-between. You can change the .ver0 to .save and this will make it the main save file afterwards. IF you deleted the whole folder though, then I'm guessing you can recover like what iQMM had said? Or this maybe abit simple, so don't judge me, lol. Go to recycle bin and hopefully, you can restore the folder there.
