HELP! Ultimate fix problem

Hi! I have an issue I have no idea how to fix. I have installed The sims 4 from G4TW, and applied the Ultimate fixes. I applied the last one, unfortunately without reading it's a base game only and messed up everything I had from before (it returned my game to the basic). I also edited the name of the Game folder to Game_ and now I have both folders.

I then read around on this forum, and understood what I did wrong, and tried to download the packs in the right order. But then I read that one of the steps in the guide was this renaming of the Game folder, and it came only after a first few packs, and because I applied the Ultimate fix update only, I already had that folder renamed.. I installed the first couple of DLC's to try it out, and it won't let me run the game. I have all the torrents I need now, but I don't know what I should do.

Do I need to download the base game first and start all over again, or can I just continue downloading the DLC's in the right order? And what do I do about the two "game" folders now?

Since you have reduced your game to base game only:
Install in this order:

Get to Work
Get Together
City Living
Toddlers/vampires
Delete both folders Game and Game_
install Parenthood
install Fitness

So, I tried enabling mods and custom content, and now it shuts the game down every time I try turning it on

Obviously the problem lies with the CC

I know, but how can I turn it off if I can't even get the game running?

MOVE, not Copy the folder Mods from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your desktop and then start your game again.
No success ? Rename the folder The Sims 4 in Documents\Electronic Arts to The Sims 4_old
