GForce Experience Not Recognizing The Sims 4 For Livestream (broadcast)

Hey Guys! 

Me once again with some weird error lol   

So I've been contemplating for some time now to live-stream game-play and challenges. I'm trying to use the GeForce Experience software since it was installed along with my graphics card. However, I am running in to a bit of an issue when attempting to do so. When I start playing the game with administrator settings I have no issue. however when I go to livestream of course I have to click play to begin the stream via the GeForce App and I get the error message because there is no way for me to begin the game via the app with administrator settings. The GeForce App won't recognize the game as a supported game for livestream. Is there anything you guys can think of that I could do to bypass this issue so I can livestream with GeForce? or should I just vie up and go with a third party streaming software?

I assume you already downloaded/installed the latest "Toddler Stuff" DLC? If so, did you also apply the fix here as well?

I encountered this particular error myself (before the fix "came into being"), I waited a few seconds though and the game started. In either case, you should apply the fix though.

Edit: also make sure Origin is completely closed/signed out.

Yikes, i will download the toddler stuff which I don't have yet. However, I've had this error since the last fix, my last download was Fitness Stuff, I've always had to run the game as an admin. Do you think downloading Toddler stuff will help? currently doing so

OK, then. Well, this is interesting. Maybe the game is not "supported" by GeForce Experience? I'm not using this thing myself (I actually uninstalled GeForce Experience even). So I'm afraid I'm at a loss here.

Maybe you could indeed try other software?

Maybe one thing, have you tried changing the game properties of the .exe file?




Right-click on TS4.exe (or TS4_x64.exe) -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run this program as an administrator -> Apply.

That should normally start your game (as administrator) each time by simply double-clicking. Or (maybe) in your case, also by running the game through the GeForce Experience.

That actually helps bypass the having to run the game as admin! however I'm still having the streaming issue. I've checked the GeForce forums and it seems that I am not the only one having this issue. I was concerned that maybe because I have pirated copy I couldn't do it but I'll continue to research the GeForce forums until I find a solution thank you

In my opinion, a "game is a game" (a functioning Windows app that is running). Things like that seem quite strange to me, but OK. Sorry I couldn't help more on here, but in case you find a possible solution, it would be much appreciated if you let us know!
