The Sims 4 Get together.

I downloaded all the updates of sims 4. I read all the instructions to install get to work and it worked perfectly fine. When i got to the GET TOGETHER expention pack i followed everything to the letter, but
when i run the game it says:

"Origin is currently not running. Please make sure that origin is running before attempting to play the sims 4"

The problem started as soon as i tried to install the get together expension pack.

When i move the folder thats in  the ELECTRONIC ARTS to program files(x86)\The sims 4
It tells me i need to update the file because the game contains updated files

Please may i have some help to fix the problem i love the game and want to keep playing

I downloaded all expentions and was busy installing them one by one and got stuck by Get Together. The get to work expension worked perfect.

Yes it says my game runs with a newer version of the game.

I uninstalled the game and did the same steps. Still the same problem.

I tried moving the folder out of electronic arts but then it says must run origin to run game.
Please help.

I installed the game again and its working fine.

I added the get to work expension. And it worked now i do not know how i will get the get together to work aswel.
So i can start adding the other expensions also.

Please try it. Don't forget to configure anti-virus & Windows Defender exclusions as well. See the initial guide here:

It worked i understood the steps fully. Thank you.
Now im stuck by toddler, vampire and bowling stuff.
It opens but when i get to where i choose a plot it loads the hole time it does not want to go through.

Please help.

You must load the new Game folder and delete the old one from Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4

So i delete the folder and open sims again then it will get a new game folder?

First download the new Game folder, then delete the existing folder Game from your install folder Program Files\The Sims 4

Nothing is wrong with the guide, and I don't think adding a downloadlink for the newest "Game"-folder to point #7 (!) would simplify the guide. On the contrary probably. A separate Game-folder is needed when you want to "correct" the game after installing all DLC. But when you delete/rename the Game-folder after installing Toddlers/Bowling/Vampires (that is what point #7 is about), then there is no need for a fresh folder.  If anything, the TS4 Must-Read is easier in the sense that if done correctly, you don't need to apply a fresh Game-folder at the end.

Either way: the tutorials will stay locked, as well as all future ones added to the sections. People should learn to be precise when submitting their stuff (they'll be given time before the topic is moved to Tips/Fixes, so they can fix errors or add information), and if they want new information to be added, they can post that in a new topic, which will again be evaluated before moving.

I installed the parenthood expension but no building material or household stuff does not show, but i can choose the options the objects are just not there.

Will the objects come back when i install fitness pack? Or is there a way to fix that problem of the building option?

I would strongly recommend you install the Fitness Stuffpack + Toddlers Stuffpack (+ Error Code 3 Fix), in addition to what you did already.
