I Need Help [SOLVED]
I've searched the forum, I've also tried reinstalling and I followed the instructions to every letter. I also unistalled Origin. But for some reason I keep getting this message. When I double click on the Sims Icon it doesn't load. But when I run as an administrator it shows this message.

Re: I Need Help [SOLVED]
Is your installation folder The Sims 4 still inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts ?
When yes, move, not copy, the folder The Sims 4 to just Program Files (x86)

Re: I Need Help [SOLVED]
The Origin not running is mostly caused by:
Origin is still running somewhere on your computer
The installationfolder The Sims 4 is within another folder called Origin, Origin Games or Electronic Arts.
You copied, not moved, the installfolder The Sims 4 out of the folder Origin, Origin Games or Electonic Arts.
Your starting the game with a copy of TS4 or TS4_x64.exe instead of a shortcut.
Your anti-virus has disabled RldOrigin.dll in the subfolder Game\Bin,

Re: I Need Help [SOLVED]
I didn't copy it, I moved the Sims 4 folder into the program files. I also disabled my antivirus. But if this matters I was able to get into up until I tried to add my mods into the game. Maybe that would have something to do with it? I'm unsure. I have removed them all as well to see if that was the problem

Oh gosh, So it turns out I didn't move my mods folder out of it. I just did I'm guessing it was something in my mods folder lol. Because its now running. Is there a particular way I have to add mods to the games then?

Adding mods to your game might slow it down, but you can always try of course and remove them when they harm your game.Indiyin wrote:Yeah, I believe it was that. Because its running just fine now. Is there a certain I have to add mods to the game?
