Installed the game, but it doesn't open.
Hi, I tried twice to install and run the game, but both times it didn't work. I followed all instructions correctly I think. Kept antivirus deactivated
I have windows 10 64 bit, so I did the procedure to move to program files\ and open as an administrator the TS4_x64.
It just doesn't open - nothing happens, no messege.
Help please

Hi @BSz ,
What about running the TS4.exe instead? Will the game run? Perhaps you can screenshot your Sims 4 folder so we can double check the files?

It sometimes takes more than 2 minutes between clicking on the .exe (or shortcut) and noticing some activity.BSz wrote:Hi, I tried twice to install and run the game, but both times it didn't work. I followed all instructions correctly I think. Kept antivirus deactivated

Maybe you should have a bit more patience.

Hello and welcome to the Forum @BSz,
Did you install just the base game of The Sims 4, or other DLC as well?

Valid point, but that is so extremely rare these days. If it does happen then in almost all cases the computer isn't strong enough in the first place to run the game. Even the cheapest laptops with integrated graphics chips can mostly run the game. The problem here is almost certainly anti-virus tampering with the files.

When I start the Sims 4 via Origin or ZLOrigin it reacts much quicker than via the cracked version.

Maybe they changed something about the crack again; the OP seems to use G4TW's stuff though, I assume from this. And we don't have the 1.34/1.35 patches as of now.

Re: Installed the game, but it doesn't open.
I have exactly the same problem. I used to have Sims 4 with every expansion pack, but I deleted it and now after downloading Games4theworld torrents the game won't open. I followed the procedure and everything. I noticed that The Sims 4 icon in the menu Start disappeared after clicking on it, but it is in the Bin folder. I cannot run the 64bit version because TS4_x64.exe file is "blank" and I can only try to launch the TS4.exe. Yes, I've waited for game to launch (like 5 minutes even). Windows Defender was deactivated (and still is). The game (with Parenthood) worked fine just a week ago; now it doesn't launch.
EDIT: If I have Origin on or do not run as administrator the pop up appears and says to deactivate Origin and run as administrator. Otherwise nothing happens.
EDIT: I've downloaded this fix and now it launched.
